Meet Blue! As you have seen in today’s horse market, REGISTERED, BLUE ROAN and A GELDING is truly HARD find. It took me forever for find him for myself and here he is proudly being offered exclusively for the public through Platinum Equine Auction. Blue was bought specifically for myself with every intention of going in the keeper pen. ( even though my husbands steals him every chance he gets!!) I just received a promotion at work and decided that I do not need to let this kind of horse go to waste since I will be too busy to ride but instead he can be someone’s number one. I know that this blue roan gelding is not only my dream horse, but someone else’s too. As seen in his must see video we have ridden blue extensively through our cows, on trails here on our farm, and in our indoor. As captured in the video…there is never too much of a challenge for Blue… deep sticky mud, steep hills, large groups of cattle, pasture roping, NOTHING is too much of a challenge. He will hold the rope strong and tight and will not leave you in a sticky situation in a group full of momma cows, that’s for sure! He is a nice fun ride and will go anywhere you point him. You can open and close the gates on him, go push the cattle where you need to go or take him for a spin and show off his fancy buttons!! Blue is well broke and will move off your leg pressure, has a nice stop and back and an awesome lope!! He easily transitions between walk trot canter and picks up leads both ways. Along with being a ranch/trail horse, I have played with him some on the barrels and I believe he can make a solid barrel horse overnight. Blue is kind and clean in the stall, easy to catch when turned out, stands to be mounted, is not cinchy and does not crib or weave. He is sound (he has a very small scar on his front foot as pictured does not affect him in any way ) and shod all the way around. Stands well for the farrier and vet with no Issues. Blue truly is your next ranch partner or confident trail mount!!
